Contemporary Elizabethan Inspiration - John Galliano FW 2009

Another inspirational source for my research was the John Galliano FW 2009 runway makeup looks.

Again the models had very pale/white faces , soft red round blush on the cheeks , red  lip gloss in the center of the lips and white eye lashes. For the eyes they used golden and a kind of browny black eye shadow. Underneath the eyes there is that glittery shimmer that goes down to the cheeks which gives the whole look a bit of a dewy feel. As an accent they also put a bit of golden over the cupids bow. The eyebrows a definitely thicker than Elizabethan eyebrows if the Elizabethan person had eyebrows at all. The second look is quite similar just that instead of red lip gloss they used pink  and for the eyes they used a frosty blue I would say. Also the eyebrows are now very thin and long.
