To block out eyebrows you will need:
- water
- soap
- glue/Prit stick
- baby buds
- angled brush
- spatula
- couch roll
- bowl
And to create the Elizabethan look afterwards you will need:
- Illamasqua translucent powder
- Illamasqua skin base or white from the Kryolan supercolor palette
- Kryolan blusher palette
- foundation brush, powder brush, angled brush, disposable mascara brush
->before you start make sure the eyebrows are absolutely clean!
->when using soap it is better to go for an unscented one just in case the person you are working on has sensitive skin
SOAP
->for blocking out eyebrows with soap prepare a bowl with water and put the soap in it
->use an angled brush and scrape a bit of soap off(needs to be a creamy consistence)
->make sure your model has the eyes closed at all times while working in the eye area
->head needs to be back ->you are working with liquid!
->first go against the hair and work it in nicely
->the brush it upwards and the other way->both sides needs to be covered in soap
->when done use your fingers and press the eyebrow down->you want it to be flat and smooth
->if you should be in a hurry dry it with a cool dryer
->build up the next layer and press it down again
->keep applying layers until everything is smooth
->if you have anywhere soap apart from the eyebrow wipe it off with water (lukewarm water is quite good)
->at this point you can use a sealer if you want to
->wait until the eyebrow is dry and then take a soft brush or sponge and start applying a white base (Illamasqua skin base or Kryolan supercolor in white)
->make sure to start with the eyebrow and then match the rest of the skin
->powder
->FOR ELIZABETHAN LOOK add blush in a circular shape
->when you do the lips don't do perfectly lined lips-> I just used some blusher and put it in the center of the lips
->whiten the eyelashes
PRIT STICK
->put some glue with the spatula on the back of your hand
->work it in nicely with the spatula
->don't apply everything in one go
->if you smear it over the eyebrows don't worry it comes of with lukewarm water as well
->apply 3-4 layers and make sure to get a smooth texture
->just before it is dry apply some powder for texture
->if you want to apply a flesh colored base afterwards mix 079 with the white( both from the supercolor palette) an create a rosy color-> you need to block the dark colors out first
->after you applied rosy color over eyebrows you can start applying the flesh colored base
->powder
->remember to always cover the ears and neck as well(no matter what base you use in the end)
->I used glue-> try soap at home!
->NOTE: next time I have to apply the base more properly->rushed it because I was in a hurry
->otherwise the eyebrows were nice and smooth
->I also want to try to cover more of the eyebrow color
->Ruby's design on me->she used the rosy color underneath the base on the left side and it blocked out nicely the color of eyebrow
